Meet the Director

Jessica Kennedy Vickers, Writer/Director/Producer

Jessica Kennedy Vickers is a writer, director, and producer making her directorial debut with Endless Cycle, a narrative short film inspired by her own journey with uterine fibroids. She is also Producer and Assistant Director of Thibodeauxville - The Story of the Thibodaux Massacre: Race, Riot, and Resilience, a historical documentary on the 1887 Thibodaux Massacre, which is currently in post-production. Through her company, Wood and Rose Productions, she creates films that tells stories about pivotal moments - when love, loss, or circumstance force us to choose who we will become.


Jessica built a career in engineering and project management, working with the United States Department of Defense, Universal Creative, Royal Caribbean Group, and currently, The Walt Disney Company. She holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Jackson State University and an M.Eng. in Systems Engineering from Old Dominion University. An active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Jessica is passionate about storytelling that sparks dialogue and fosters connection.
